What Life is All About
DougMy vision of Life Together is all about relationships. So lately I’ve been trying to spend more time with my family and friends and less time on the computer. A few days ago I had a great time just hanging out with my girls raking the leaves in our front yard. Later that evening we watched the sunset together and talked about how great God is to paint such beautiful colors for our enjoyment and his praise. All this got me thinking that life really is about relationships. Relationships with God and with people. I agree with Charles Drew when he writes, “life at its deepest level is relational.” So, as I preach this message to myself, I’ll pass it on to you. Life’s about relationships. Cultivate them this month, this week, this day. You’ll be happy you did, and so will others.

I can’t believe you were just out raking leaves a few days ago! Dustin has been shoveling a lot this week! And yes I agree life is about relationships! Thanks for letting me build relationship w/ your wife for about 90 min. the other night! On the computer note we have started turning off our computers on Sunday nights and not turing it on til Tues. am (since Dustin normally takes off Monday). It’s nice and I’m suprised about how often I think about looking at email or checking something online.
