Go With Courage

Yesterday I stumbled across a message given by a good friend of mine from college named Eric Weaver (“Weav” is what most people called him). Some of you who graduated from the University of Northern Iowa know Eric. I met Eric at Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp and from the moment I met him, I knew that I wanted to be like him.
It’s been a number of years since I’ve seen Eric. But what I remember most and what I admire most about him was his child-like trust in God. He simply took God at his Word and lived it out. He wanted more of God’s presence and saw God in the little things as well as the big things.
I encourage you to listen to his message, called “Go With Courage,” taken from Joshua 1:1-9. It reminded me that wherever I go, I can go with courage, knowing that God goes with me.

Eric is a rock star. In the future watch out for his budding abilities on the fantasy football front. He was the most intense player I have ever seen this past season.
